Why buyers work with us

Most wasabi exporters buy at the Japanese wholesale auction. That means the price moves every week and the volume you get depends on what happened at the market that morning. For a restaurant group or an importer building a menu, that is not a supply chain.

We contract directly with growers in Nagano Prefecture. The volume is agreed in advance and does not stop in summer. Prices are fixed for the contract period and do not move with the auction. You know exactly what you are paying and when it arrives, twelve months a year.

Trading terms

Minimum order	10 kg per shipment
Pricing	Prices are fixed for the contract period — not linked to the daily auction.
Price basis	FOB Narita (NRT) or Haneda (HND). Air freight, insurance, import duty, customs clearance and inland delivery at destination are not included.
Transport	Air freight from Narita (NRT) or Haneda (HND), chilled with gel packs and insulated packaging. Freight arranged by the buyer, or by us on request.
Lead time	Approx. 4 days from order confirmation to arrival at destination airport
Shipping frequency	Weekly shipments available
Documents	Phytosanitary certificate, invoice, packing list, air waybill, certificate of origin on request

Import requirements for fresh wasabi rhizome differ by country. Tell us your destination and we will confirm the applicable phytosanitary conditions before quoting.

Quality and traceability

• Every lot is traceable to the grower and the harvest date.
• Cold chain maintained from the farm to the aircraft; packed within 2 days of harvest.
• Grading and rhizome size can be specified — tell us the size range your kitchen uses.
• Sample shipments available before a first contract.
